PARENTS/STUDENTS:  It pays to think ahead! 
The Middle School Counselors will be here on Tuesday, February 28, 2012
to speak to the 6th Grade students about scheduling classes for next year.  

 SDIS STUDENTS: Dress appropriately for the weather!    
With the change in weather, please be sure your child wea rs appropriate clothing to school. All students must have a coat when going outside. We will be sending the students outside for recess as long as the temp is 32 degrees or above and it is dry outside. 

C-NOTIFY:   Parents, bad weather is upon us, please notify the school of any emergency contact numbers that were changed or are no longer available. This will assure you receive information from the school if we have early dismissal or unscheduled school closings.  READ MORE INFORMATION

SDIS Recycling Program

An informational note from Mrs. Lillie:   Help us Recycle!

Along with the ink cartridges we recycle glue bottles and glue sticks (255 this year), candy wrappers (Mars, Cadbury) including M&M, Snickers, and Skittles (205 this year).  We also collect used up pens, dry erase markers, mechanical pencils, wooden pencils, and Sharpie markers (our first year).  All of these are cecycled into new products, and they are kept out of the landfills.  So, bring in any of these items and place them in the buckets near the Art room or take them to Mrs. Lillie.
